Once, after being left alone for too long, Nessa scratched her skin raw under her right ear and now she has a daily topical medication for the skin there. After she took a detailed history of Nessa, including her age and weight, I showed her around my apartment and pointed out Nessa’s toys and supplies. I believe it was an excellent recommendation because it worked well for Nessa. Nessa does well with collars so I tried it out. My sitter seemed to understand these types of cats and recommended that I look into getting Nessa a calming collar. Nessa is very particular and becomes obsessive when she is stressed, even tending to lick her own hair off when she has been left alone for too long. Before I left my cat, Nessa, with the sitter she came over to get to know Nessa.

If you are a crazy overprotective dog mom/dad like me and Lucy's dad are, then you understand why all of this is so important. Also, from these emails I know that Jessica has never left early, which is important because you know you are getting the entire service you are paying for. It automatically sends you an email when the walk is finished so you can log in and see that your dog is safely inside. The walkers have an app where they check in by uploading a photo of your building upon arrival, and a photo of your pet safely inside upon leaving. One of my favorite things about Happy Pets is the website they use to schedule walks. I've also had an incident when I completely forgot to schedule a walk for Lucy until after she had been alone a little too long, and a quick text to Jamie and 15 minutes laters, Lucy was out on a walk. Since then, Jessica has almost always been our dog walker and I've run into her in our neighborhood while I'm out with Lucy, and Lucy always gets very excited and runs over to greet her. I was immediately put at easy by her professionalism and interest in Lucy's safety. I needed them last minute after reading a worrisome review of my former dog walker and Jamie came over within a couple of hours to meet with me and my puppy and took thorough notes on Lucy's (my puppy) interests, training, etc. "I've been using happy pets since my puppy was three months old. The pet sitting software Jamie utilizes is super convenient and allows me to schedule services from my phone and also read status updates on how my pets are doing. Our regular dog walker Michael and catsitter Monica are kind, considerate and take wonderful care of my three year old dog Josie and thirteen year old cat Molly. She is always able to provide us with a walker or sitter, even during high demand holiday weekends. Jamie is very professional and promptly gets back to me whenever I have a request or question. We have never had that problem with Happy Pets. Other local pet sitting services have occasionally been to busy to accommodate us or turned us down because of a lack of staff. My husband and I are teachers, so we need a dog walker 5 days a week during the school year and periodically for vacations.
